Zoom Workshops
Betsy Lockhart, a master Montessori Elementary teacher and trainer, offers a second workshop of special interest to elementary teachers.
Much of what we may have learned about normalization is based on its manifestation at the Early Childhood level. This workshop examines how normalization at the elementary level differs from other levels by applying the findings of contemporary researchers and theorists to Dr. Montessori’s descriptions of normalization. You will develop specific, individualized strategies to foster normalization in your own classrooms that can be immediately implemented.

This two part workshop will also be held in two 90-minute Zoom sessions on February 1 and 8. 3 C.P.D. credits available from the American Montessori Society
In-Person workshops
February 8- Registration is open for "Building Community through Music for EC and I&T level", a repeat of Valerie Wheeler's popular workshop. She will guide teachers through accessible lessons for teaching basic musical concepts with storytelling, creative movement, and community building. Held in Bothell from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Cost $70. STARS hours available.

MEIPN Assistant Training
MEIPN Montessori Assistant Training has a blended delivery format. The schedule includes seven days to complete four hours of online learning followed by a seven-hour class in person. Content includes basics of Montessori philosophy, the role of the assistant, and working respectfully and effectively with children and coworkers in Montessori Environments. This is not a Montessori materials course. See AGENDA
11 hours of STARS credit available on completion of online and in person work.

Attend any class at your credential level for free as a refresher course by arrangements with the directors. To sign up notify a MEIPN level coordinator.
MACTE CREDENTIALED TEACHERS
Attend any class at your level for a reduced auditor fee. To sign up submit an Auditor's registration form, available on the MEIPN website under the Resources tab.
