Nurturing each child's unique potential

Our toddlers need an extraordinary teacher. They are in class from 8:30am to 3:30pm (some stay until 5:30pm), working diligently at becoming independent. Their classroom is a beautifully prepared environment, adjacent to a large playground. As they mature, they’ll move up to one of two primary classrooms, so continued observation of independence is possible.

We are looking for a Montessorian, trained at the infant-toddler level, to join our teaching staff. This year the position is half-day, next school year the position could become full day. Compensation depends on training, education and experience. In addition to training, the position requires at least a year of lead teaching, and college education is preferred. The usual current first aid, CPR, food handler permit, TB test and DEL background check are required as well.

In non-COVID years our school has about 100 children between the ages of 15 months and 6 years, in five classroom communities. We work hard, laugh often and truly enjoy assisting children in their developmental journey.
